Plattformers wants to improve the possibility of self-organization for professional artists and performing arts actors within the hip hop and street dance community, promote professional creation among actors with a foundation in the various art forms of hip hop, and promote interdisciplinary creation locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.

Founded in 2017 due to the lack of a legal platform for artistic production and independent cultural projects for freelance artists and actors within the hip hop and street dance community. The association operates locally, regionally, nationally and internationally with its base in Helsingborg and is aimed at professional performing artists, independent groups and organizations that work or want to work closely with the hip hop community and its art forms.
